‘Darkness cannot drive out darkness:
Only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate:
Only love can do that.’

On 10th October 2014 Mother Teresa World School celebrated its 3rd Sharad Utsav with a grand spectacle of music, dance and drama, wherein all the students of the school participated with great enthusiasm. The function was graced by all the parents and a number of distinguished guests from ONGC, YMCA and Police Departments also participated in the event. The main highlight of the evening was the presentation of the great epic ‘Ramayan’. The children enacted the act flawlessly no less than a television serial which compelled the audience to stick their eyes onto the stage. The programme also featured vibrant and colourful dances by the children of Pre-Primary and Primary sections. The whole evening was immersed in the moonlight with wonderful songs, dances and lights everywhere. The school choir ‘Symphony’which has stood second at the YMCA Carol singing Competition also presented an outstanding medley of English songs right from Titanic to Waka-Waka. Which left the spectators spellbound. The Principal Ms. Raji Dennis also gave a presentation on the journey of the school of last three years. After the cultural programme all stood for the Arti of Goddess Durga followed by Garba. All the parents and students held hand in hand and danced together. Everyone moved to the beats of Garba. Various food stalls were also put up for refreshments of the audience and children which served hot pizzas, sandwiches, bhaji pao, pulav and cold drinks. The programme was a great success. The night ended with all claps and laughter everywhere.
